Fine line & feminine
Kaitlyn McKnight
If you're looking for the best fine-line tattoo artist in Brunswick Georgia with six years of tattooing, and the studio's fine line and feminine specialist: delicate script, florals, dainty symbols, small and matching pieces, and soft shading, done with a light hand and the same safety standard as every chair in the studio.

Light hand, clean lines
Fine line is the opposite of loud. Thin, controlled lines, soft shading instead of heavy black, and small pieces that still read clearly from across the room. It's the style people choose for a first tattoo, a meaningful date or a name, a flower that means something, or a matching piece with someone they love.
What Kaitlyn does
Script and handwriting, florals and botanicals, dainty symbols and celestial pieces, small animals and outlines, soft-shaded feminine designs, and matching tattoos for friends, couples and family. Black and grey, or a soft touch of color where it belongs.
Built to age well
Fine lines spread slightly over the years, so a good fine line tattoo is planned for that: a touch more weight where lines meet, breathing room between letters, placement away from constant friction, and free touch-ups once you're healed.
Where it sits
Wrist, forearm, collarbone, ankle, ribs, behind the ear, the back of the arm. Placement is part of the consultation, and so is the honest conversation about how a very small design will look in ten years.

Questions
Good to know
What kind of tattoos does Kaitlyn do?
Fine line and feminine work: delicate script and handwriting, florals and botanicals, dainty symbols, small and matching pieces, and soft shading, in black and grey or with a soft touch of color.
How much does a small fine line tattoo cost?
$175 an hour, calculated by actual machine run-time, so a small piece costs a fraction of a full session. Send the idea and size and you'll get a clear estimate before you book. Touch-ups are free.
What is Skip the Wait?
A $1,000 flat-rate, four-hour priority session that moves you to the front of the books. Every hour after the fourth is billed at $175.
Do fine line tattoos fade faster?
Fine line is built with single needles and soft shading, so it's designed for aging: a touch more weight where lines meet, placement away from constant friction, and free touch-ups once you're healed.
Do you do matching or first tattoos?
Yes. Matching pieces for friends, couples and family, and first tattoos that are small, meaningful and placed somewhere you'll love, are a big part of what Kaitlyn does.
Safety and health first
A higher standard of clean
Tattoo ink isn't FDA-approved, so it's your artist's job to know exactly what's going into your body for life. We've done that research so you don't have to, and both chairs run on the same standard.
Third-party-tested ink
REACH-compliant pigments, lab-tested and certified free of the heavy metals, carcinogens, azo dyes and preservatives that third-party testing has found in some popular ink brands.
Independently tested, lead-free needles
Some cheaper needles have been found to contain lead. Ours are independently tested so they don't.
Surgical-level aseptic technique
Nick trained in surgical-grade sterilization protocols, including Glo Germ cross-contamination training, which uses a UV tracer to show exactly where invisible contamination spreads, and the whole studio runs on those protocols.
Never plastic wrap
Fresh work is never covered with Saran wrap. You always get a medical-grade breathable adhesive membrane that keeps bacteria out while the skin breathes.
Sterile water only
Tap water never touches the process. Pharmaceutical-grade sterile water for ink dilution and skin prep.
Aftercare, handled
You leave with a custom aftercare kit (pH-balanced wash and organic balms) and a detailed digital guide for every stage of healing.
